Film Writer

Jonathan Nikolaj Heinius came into the film via writer's dreams, sound design, theory of electronic dance music and Dogme95. He has in recent years developed a documentary method, with a fictional format.

A kind of adaptation method in conversation with reality. His format is now the feature film, where he appears as an auteur playing with genre. "Köttstålars" is the first pure fiction film, in which he continues to confirm his interest in genre films - the hope is to create something as cult as Sweden's first stoner comedy i Malmö.

Jonathan's films are in the borderland between entertainment and art. A strong interest in dramaturgy and the story, together with his works of audiovisual play and documentary fieldwork, which gives the world and the characters authenticity with an element of surprise in the design.
