Designer
Mark Bond is a furniture & product designer with 30 years professional experience. Although born in the UK, he is now based in Malmö after moving to Sweden in 2016 to follow his passion for Scandinavian design & lead a team of product developers for IKEA.
Mark always aims to challenge boundaries & drive creative design solutions as a tool for good. A firm believer, that good design should be simple, accessible & enhance the quality of our lives: ideally a perfect harmony of function, innovation & art.
Having trained in furniture design at the Royal College of Art in London & worked with many respected global organizations, Mark has designed furniture, products, interiors, trend forecasted, written books, curated exhibitions & managed design/ development teams.
Now it’s time for him to put his passion for design into developing his own range of self-initiated & experimental projects & hopefully many collaborations with other creatives to both stimulate conversation & deliver awesomeness.
