Som deltagare i STPLN:LAB har du en gratis arbetsplats på STPLN under 12 månader, med tillgång till co-working space i form av öppet kontorslandskap, scenrum, medialab och verkstäder, verktyg och maskiner, utrustning för bild och ljudproduktion, med mera. Du får tillfälle och möjligheter att utveckla din konstnärliga praktik och dina färdigheter genom att experimentera, undersöka och prototypa. Parallellt till detta rullar ett kompetensutvecklande kursprogram med workshops och kurser inom områden som ekonomi, företagande, juridik och annat superviktigt (och lite tråkigt…).

Du kan söka in till STPLN:LAB om du håller med om att:

  • Du arbetar minst 50 procent med din konstnärliga praktik.

  • Du har bra koll på dina konstnärliga processer men känner att du har mer att lära när det gäller sådant som upphandling, juridik, försäkringar, företagsformer, ekonomisk planering.

  • Du skulle ha stort utbyte av en fast arbetsplats med kollegor från liknande branscher under ett år.

  • Du är intresserad av att bredda dina horisonter och upptäcka nya möjligheter.

  • Du är öppen för internationella utbyten.

  • Du planerar att driva din verksamhet som frilansare eller i ett litet företag med få anställda.

  • Du gillar tanken på att lära av andra och dela med dig vad du kan.

  • Du har möjlighet att ta dig till Malmö för att vara med på programaktiviteterna.

As a participant in STPLN:LAB, you have a free spot at STPLN for 12 months, with access to co-workings pace/office space, stage room, media labs and workshops, tools and machines, equipment for photo and sound production and more. You get possibilities and opportunities to develop your artistic practice and skills by experimenting, researching and prototyping. Parallel to this runs a curated program of a variety of workshops and courses in areas such as finance, entrepreneurship, law and other super important stuff (and a bit boring…)

You can apply to STPLN:LAB if you agree with that:

  • You work at least 50 percent with your artistic practice.

  • You have a good grasp of your artistic processes but feel that you have more to learn when it comes to things like economics, law, insurance, business forms, financial planning.

  • You would have a great exchange of a permanent workplace with colleagues from similar industries for a year.

  • You are interested in broadening your horizons and discovering new opportunities.

  • You are open to international exchanges.

  • You plan to run your business as a freelancer or in a small company with few employees.

  • You like the idea of learning from others and sharing what you know.

  • You have the possibility to travel to Malmö to take part in the program activities.
