Musician
Elina Masalin is a freelance musician from Finland, now living in Malmö. She creates music under the stage name Elee Loop.
She performs as a one-woman band combining acoustic, electronic, and digital instruments together with her vocals. She builds up soundscapes live on stage by live-looping. Her music floats between electronic pop and melodic ambiance.
At the moment, she is recording her debut EP that is going to be released in Spring 2022.
Her most recent projects include Open Songs (2021, supported by Öppna Malmö, Malmö stad). A recording booth SONG-O-MATIC was placed on public streets in Malmö for people to record their stories and secrets anonymously. Elee created songs based on people's submissions and performed them live in concerts in Malmö during 2021. People submitted over 5,000 stories anonymously for the project.
